October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

About 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in their lifetime. Approximately 12,000 women age 40 or younger are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

When breast cancer is detected early, in the localized stage, the 5-year survival rate is 98%.

Early detections saves lives. Regular breasts self exams and an annual mammogram screening are important. Take care of your health, take care of you, and encourage other females in your life to do the same.
